Thank you so much to everyone who’s already RSVP’d. We’re really grateful for the effort people are making to be there, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

We’ve had a few questions, so we thought it would be helpful to share some extra information now. We’ll keep this page updated over the coming months.

Firstly, an update to timings

As mentioned on the website, we originally hoped to host a drinks reception in Seville on Friday afternoon to welcome you all. Unfortunately, new Spanish tourism regulations mean it’s no longer possible to hire bars for a group our size. The venues we could use are all outside the city.

That would mean many of you flying in, only to be immediately put on a coach and driven out of town for an hour. On reflection, that’s not the experience we want for you.

So we’ve decided to cancel the Friday drinks reception and leave Friday free for you to arrive, settle into the Hacidena, or explore Seville, eat tapas, drink wine, repeat.

Flights

General wisdom (and Google) says short-haul flights are usually cheapest around six months out.

The best-value options tend to be Ryanair or Vueling. We’ve also heard that Vueling may have a sale from 6 January due to King’s Day, so it’s worth checking this week.

There are multiple flights:

  • Thursday evening

  • Friday morning

  • Saturday morning - although this might be a bit risky with delays

The wedding starts from 6pm - we are in the land of the siesta (everything starts late & finishes late), so there should be a few options that work.

Menus

Thank you for confirming your dietary requirements — we have them all.

We’ll share menu details in the Summer, and we’ll email you and update this page when we do.

Check-in

We’re expecting check-in to be around 3–4pm. This should help if you’re planning to fly in on Friday morning. We’ll confirm timings properly in the Spring.

Friday evening

With the Friday drinks now cancelled, we’re looking at dinner options for Friday evening and will update you soon.

Transfers

We’ll be putting on a coach transfer to and from the wedding. Pickup details will be shared closer to the time.

As mentioned on the invite, the night finishes around 3–4am, so a daytime siesta is strongly encouraged!

If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can finalise transfer numbers.
